Spence Announces Type D50

Type D50 is suitable where cost and/or space limitations are the primary concern. The D50 Regulator is a rugged and an economical choice for use on steam irons, autoclaves, laundry mangles, single radiators, steam tables, vulcanizers, steam, water or gas applications.
The Type D50 is available in three sizes and materials. The ½”–2” size is made of cast iron, ½” to ¾” made in bronze and ½” to 1” in stainless steel. The Type D50 Direct-Acting Pressure Reducing Valve is rated to 300 PSIG at 420°F and is capable of reducing pressures from 3 to 140 psi.
Other notable features of the Type D50 Pressure Reducing Valve include spherical seating surface on floating stainless steel disc for tight shutoff, five spring ranges, integral stainless steel strainer and the availability of a Teflon® disc for liquid and gas dead-end service.
