Consolidated high quality, rectangular sterilizers offer more functional chamber space and accessories. A variety of sizes are available. If clean steam is supplied your building, we offer direct steam-heated operation. If a steam source is unavailable, we can manufacture your sterilizer with a steam generator that fits underneath the chamber. A separate steam generator is supplied for sterilizers with a chamber size larger than 24″ x 36″ x 48″.

With its Europa autoclaves in the “Vacuklav” -series, MELAG offers three autoclaves which are a step ahead of the require-ments of our times. We have in fact spared nothing in technical innovations to ensure that this family of autoclaves satisfies all requirements of the upcoming European Standard prEN 13060 which will be placed on “Class B” autoclaves. Autoclaves of the “Vacuklav”-family feature multiple sub-atmospheric pulsing for pre- and post-sterilization air removal.

An innovative microprocessor control system provides closed-loop control and monitoring of sterilization. “Vacuklav” -autoclaves can be easily connected to the MELAG MELAdem37 and MELAdem47 water-treatment systems for automatic supply of high-quality water. In such configurations, a conductivity measuring unit for checking water quality (conductivity sensor) which is integrated in the autoclaves will check the quality of the water supplied. A serial interface for connection to the MELAprint42 dot matrix printer, or to a computer in the doctor’s practice, provides documentation of the success or failure of the sterilization process.

Description:

The Little Sister 3 is a downward displacement autoclave suitable for dentists, doctors in general practice, chiropodists, veterinary surgeons and other practitioners for the sterilization of solid instruments and utensils for immediate use.

Safety:

Autoclaves are widely acknowledged as the best way to sterilize equipment and instruments efficiently and effectively and achieve a standard of sterilization that cannot be equaled.
The risks of contamination and possible cross-infection resulting from trapped air are eliminated with confidence. In the fight against the transmission of Hepatitis B and HIV, the Little Sister 3 is a potential life saver too.

Simple Use:

Microprocessor controlled preventing operator error. The hygienic ‘touch panel’ controls activate a choice of cycles provided by the Little Sister 3. Select the appropriate temperature option for the load type, and with one touch it’s in operation. It is so simple, anyone can work it.

Reassurance:

The Little Sister 3 autoclave has a printer which enables a permanent record of each procedure to be kept. This means reassurance for both you and your patient.

Rapid 12 Minute Cycle:

The 134º C without drying cycle takes only 12 minutes. Three other cycles are available 134ºC with drying and 121º C with and without drying. Time includes condensing.

Choice of Chamber Size:

Chambers are 20cm in diameter and available in two lengths, standard (35cm) and long (50cm).

The LISA cycle
The required fractionated prevacuum is achieved by repeated evacuation of the air alternating with a periodic inflow of steam. A microprocessor controls and optimises this process thereby reducing the pre-vacuum phase to a minimum.

The sterilization phase then commences.

The sterile load is dried in the subsequent post-sterilization pulsed vacuum phase.

Lisa sterilizes non-stop! After a program is completed, the next program can begin immediately with no waiting time necessary.

Only distilled or demineralized water from the fresh water tanks is used for sterilization cycles. Previously used water is not recycled.

Safety First
The special PRION cycle programme reliably deactivates the PRION protein responsible for Kreutzfeld-Jacob disease.

Test programmes allow the rapid and reliable performance of function checks by utilizing either the Helix or the Bowie Dick test.

Anprolene uses Less Gas: The Anprolene system uses less than 1fl. oz. of EtO per cycle, which is less than 1/5 the gas usage of our closest competitor. The small quantity of gas used means that the Anprolene system meets all State and Federal EPA requirements without the need for expensive abatement equipment.

Sterilize with Confidence: The sterility of each Anprolene sterilization cycle can be proven with biological or Steritest indicators. You can also run chemical indicators such as the Anprolene Dosimeter. Operator exposure may be monitored with AirScan¨ Badges or Area EtO Monitors.
